Acrylate FREE
Acrylates are synthetic polymers of plastic derivation that are used as thickeners in cosmetic formulas. Among their characteristics is also a high film-forming power that creates, therefore, a film around the skin that is obstructed and does not allow perspiration while, on the hair, it prevents proper cleansing. For this reason, Bubblekid does not use acrylates in its formulas.
Dermatologically Tested
Patch testing is one of the methods by which the irritant potential of a product can be assessed in vivo. A quantity of product is applied to the skin and kept on. After a specified time has elapsed, the product is removed and any irritation is evaluated. To ensure that the product is not irritating to the skin, Bubblekid dermatologically tests its formulas.
Nichel Free
Nickel is often found within cosmetic formulations or the raw material from which they are made. People with a nickel allergy or intolerance complain of discomfort in different parts of the body caused by direct contact with the substance. This is why Bubblekid tests its products to ensure the absence of contamination.
Ocular Biocompatible in-vitro Test
Cytotoxicity is the result of an interference of one or more substances, including cosmetics, with structures and/or properties that are essential for cell survival. Some products, such as shampoo or body wash, can inevitably end up in the eyes, which is why it is important that the level of cytotoxicity of products does not create problems for eye cells. For this reason, Shampoo and Body Wash are tested to be biocompatible at the eye level.
Paraben FREE
Parabens belong to the family of preservatives, elements necessary to ensure the maintenance of the product by preventing the formation of bacteria and mold. Parabens, however, can cause allergies as they are among the most aggressive preservatives. For this reason, Bubblekid does not use parabens in its formulas.
Paraffinum Liquidum FREE
Paraffinum Liquidum, like petrolatum, is a hydrocarbon derivative from the oil/carbon mixture and is used as a moisturizing conditioner. Its high occlusive power prevents skin perspiration. For this reason, Bubblekid does not use liquid kerosene in its formulas.
Petrolatum Free
Petrolatum is a mineral oil obtained from petroleum refining. It is used in various cosmetic products as a strong conditioner, as it is able to create a water-repellent film on the skin and hair, preventing dehydration. This characteristic, however, prevents normal cell transpiration. For this reason, Bubblekid does not use petrolatum in its formulas.
Silicones FREE
Silicones are film-forming substances that create a coating film. Due to their polishing and silky properties, they are widely used in hair treatment. However, when applied to the skin, silicones can occlude pores and counteract the proper oxygenation of the skin. To ensure proper breathability for the skin, Bubblekid does not use silicones in its formulas.
SLE & SLES FREE
SLS and SLES are among the most aggressive detergents on the market. They have an intense washing action that dissolves dirt and the hydrolipidic film of the skin, thus nullifying the skin's natural protective barrier. For this reason, Bubblekid does not use SLS and SLES in its formulas.
Vegan
All the natural active ingredients in our products are of plant origin. For this reason, Bubblekid is a product line that is considered vegan.
